Given the name of this font, it's pretty evident that it was inspired by something scribbled on a piece of paper. Initially, this typeface was created to mimic the handwriting of a loved one, which could explain why the font is so thin.
The Line font comes in 5 different weights, and all of them are really thin – so thin that you can barely tell any difference between them. It was originally designed for a Swedish fashion and then released for others to use. You need to buy a commercial license to unlock the pro version.
Whether you want to create handwritten texts or messages, the Line font is a good choice for those tasks. It's very versatile as you can use it to create beautiful logos or posters, as well as sub-headings and body texts. You could also use it to add some visual interest to your designs. What's even better about this typeface is that you can easily modify its characters if needed.
No version of the Line font has any thickness or weight. All five weights look thinner than other fonts. The thinner font allows you to write more on a page without increasing the size of the text. You can easily fit 2-3 lines in the space you usually use for one line with a regular (thick) font. This can save a designer hours when designing long forms or menus at restaurants. You only need to make slight adjustments with the kerning to fit your text into one line.
Various weights of this font are also great for adding special effects or stylistic designs to your work, such as swashes, flourishes, and calligraphy styles, which can be difficult with other fonts.
